just your every day dork

so heres the gist
so yesterday i had to go do this research study about teenagers and political views in denver for this company. - got paid 75$ :)

so yesterday we drove down town (my mom, my sister and myself) and parked and walked into the building
it wasnt until i signed in and sat down with the lobby that i noticed how different i really looked compared to the rest of the kids
i looked like a legitimate dork

first i had my pink glee shirt on- which a ton of people love that show and well i just looked very young and immature and like i watched high school musical and the disney channel as well- which i dont!

then there was my glittery silver converse - which i love to death! and every body else was in like something other then converse. so i felt like the 2nd grader thats obsessed with glitter everything with the 6th graders that are talking about boys.

then my butterfly ring- that i think is really cool and unique but compared to everyone else i was so not up to date

so i  look like a freshman instead of an experienced senior

ok well i was just being myself
but everybody had a job that was a legitimate job, not babysitting
they were all wearing profesionalish clothing- except for that one guy who was a total stoner who said "weeds better for you then caffeine" - felt a little better about myself after that.

i was just in my regular street clothes that are comfy. plus my hair pulled into a pony tail- its like i cant do my hair or something!

one guy who was two years older then me is a small business owner for streaming sports events and stuff across the country. so i felt like a baby

i mean i'm 17 years old
i dont really stay with the fashion
i like my own stuff
my own style
im very original

but really? who are we kidding
i'm a dork
my friend armon likes to disagree by saying that "im not sure of a good word for it, but it seems to me that a dork is typically lame, and i know you arn't lame" - yes i did quote you

so there you have it i think i'm a dork- but not really

ok so i have a bassoon-a-ram-a shirt that i love
i say "heres the gist" alot
i blog- enough said
i have worn a sparkly beadazzled purple and white satiny cape around school that said "a-west marching band" on the back
i'm a hopeless romantic
i have a t-shirt of "the kiss" - the sailor and the nurse kissing in time square
i love marching band
i sing my show and make charts of my drill
i make star wars jokes
i love long words with odd meanings
i love musicals
i dance like a crazy person
i like taylor swift because her songs corelate to my life waaaay more then they should

i'm a dork and i'm ok with it
and armon - i know your going to disagree with me calling myself a dork
yay dorks!
