feet and turtles

so as brought you by popular demand
i am writing a blog about feet...... and turtles
you had better read it rylee and connor!

so to start off
FEET
the one thing my sister hates more then anything! she hates my feet for some odd reason, like she says my toes look weird or something. i think i have pretty normal feet.
sure my second toe is a teeny tiny eeny weeny bit taller then my big toe but thats nothing to freak about.

she really really hates when i stick my feet in her face :) ha ha

but alot can go wrong with feet
such as bunions, athletes foot, ingrown toenails, mortons neuroma, plantar fasciitis, plantar warts,webbed feet,-wouldnt that be really cool to have webbed feet? you would have flippers and could swim really fast, but flip flops might be interesting- and stress fractures.
AND
there are genetic disorders as well- fantastic
so there are flat feet or club feet

and then there are animal feet
soft feet which mammals have
and hard feet which are hooves
- i found all of this all on wikipedia :)

little family secret
my mom says that if owen- my older brother who has the opinion about me and boys- so if he ever tries to enter the military my mom will and i quote say
"he has flat feet, wets the bed :) and is gay"
he is none of those of course
he doest not have flat feeet
does not wet the bed- that i'm aware of
and is not gay- i  love his girlfriend

and apparently feet can be attractive
like this one guy on the bachelorette was in love with the girls feet- he was just inlove with them- it was weird!
normal people find other peoples eyes, body or sometimes even lips which i dont understand attractive
i find the eyes are the best- pretty eyes make the world better

oh and there is the foot which is a unit of measure

ok and the counter part of this blog

TURTLES

you know those creatures that sometimes look like slow moving rocks

my family actually owns two yes two box turtles
ones name is shelly- i know so original
and ones name is angus- dont ask
they just kind of sit there
eat their food
and swim in their thing- i dont know what to call their water bowl- i guess a pool

so this is how wikipedia sums them up

turtles - are reptiles of the order Testudines (the crown group of the superorder Chelonia), characterised by a special bony or cartilaginous shell developed from their ribs that acts as a shield. "Turtle" may either refer to the Testudines as a whole, or to particular Testudines which make up a form taxon that is not monophyletic—see also sea turtle, terrapin, tortoise, and the discussion below.

isnt that a lot of words you dont know anything or care about?!?

so pretty much you know everything you need to know about a turtle

the earliest relatives of turtles were 215 MILLION yes MILLION years ago
thats a long time ago
they must be doing something right

there are big turtles that are well GIGANTIC
and tiny turtles that you can fit in your hand
but whats common is that they are all slow
you'd be slow too if you had to carry your house on your back

i dont get people who name their turtle flash or zippy or some other word to mean fast
because its ironic
and kind of mean
because they will never live up to their name of being flash or zippy
and who would want to be named something like that, just an adjective, not a real name
well i have no room to talk with my turtles named shelly and angus

apparently they enjoy doing races against pompist hares
actually its a tortoise but they come from the same family

maybe turtles have something right about how to live life
take it slow
check out the view
show up hares that think they are all that
have your house on your back- i guess that kind of makes them like refugees or something -because they move all the time with their houses
eat bugs, grasses or what ever comes along your path
and hide when someone dangerous comes by

but as soon as you find out they are not scary, scare them half to death by turning from a rock to a turtle

wouldnt that scare you too?

ok i proved that i can write about feet and turtles
be happy with it

oh and slow and steady always wins the race
